With running costs, including depreciation, insurance, registration, garaging ad infinitum currently standing around £630 a mile, this car said to be one of the most expensive car to run in Britain. Costing around £250,000 to build, the 1985 Buckingham has covered a mere 348 miles in the past 22 years. Eight Aston Martin Lagonda craftsmen took two years to design and three years to construct the legendry car. The car is now valued at around £30,000 (£632 per mile in depreciation only). The classic car is now up for auction at the BCA’s next Classic & Historic sale, at BCA Blackbushe on 2nd October 2007.

The vehicle touts a classically inspired coachwork design. The gullwing doors open straight to an air-conditioned passenger cabin, done in Champagne leather with rosewood trim and black leather. While the coachwork is set in two-tone Burgundy and Champagne, the bonnet features an inimitable swan mascot in solid brass. The Garrards-made radiator badge is finished in gold and black enamel. This is the just right pick for the wealthy vintage car lovers.
