OK I know Valentine’s Day has been over for ages now but the very sight of this Moët Rosé Indulgence Coffret made me almost go back in time when romance and chivalry were still alive, a time when class of character still mattered more than opulence bought by wealth. The shapely black lacquered bottle holding some of the most precious Rosé Imperial champagne known to man glimmers with tips of gold in a bed of soft flowy pink satin. As indulgent as an 18th century boudoir, the luxurious experience exudes its exclusivity through the classic matt black casing. My fanciful indulgence was heightened by the adrenalin-fueling videos of the “be fabulous” campaign on display at the French champagne house’ site (directed by photographer Roxanne Lowit and shot in the ever so fab New York), which coupled with the videos in the heritage section simply transported me to another era altogether making me wish it were Valentine’s already!
