Nationalbanken

Danmarks Nationalbank, 1965-78 ( in Danish often simply Nationalbanken ) is the central bank of Denmark designed by the Danish Jewish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen ( February 11, 1902 – March 24, 1971 ), exemplar of the “Danish Modern” style http://www.arne-jacobsen.com/
The central hall of Nationalbanken ( picture ) with it’s cathedral atmosphere, marble floor, walls and ceiling and the sculptural staircase is one of the most beautiful indoor spaces in Copenhagen - definitely worth a visit.
